ATM with Rs 4 lakh stolen

SRINAGAR, Nov 22: Unidentified robbers during night hours decamped with a Jammu and Kashmir Bank Automated Teller Machine  (ATM) containing a cash amount worth over Rs. 4 lakh in Shopian district of South Kashmir.

A police official said that robbers broke and took away ATM installed inside the premises of Shopian District Hospital during intervening night. He said that the robbers had also damaged the CCTV cameras. The official said that the ATM was containing Rs. 4,28,00 cash.
The police official said that a case has been registered in this regard and probe initiated.
