NEW DELHI, Nov 15: Amid a weak trend in the global markets, silver prices moved down by Rs 251 to Rs 61,124 per kg in futures trade today as speculators offloaded positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in December moved down by Rs 251, or 0.41 per cent, to Rs 61,124 per kg, with a business turnover of 4,703 lots.
Similarly, the metal for delivery in March traded lower by Rs 241, or 0.38 per cent, to Rs 62,970 per kg, with a business turnover of 533 lots.
Marketmen said offloaded of positions by speculators, triggered by a weak global trend mainly kept pressure on silver prices at futures trade.
Meanwhile, silver declined 0.4 per cent to USD 32.55 an ounce in Singapore. (PTI)
