JAMMU, Nov 26: Pensioners and Civil Society Association has demanded enhancement of Medical allowance and implementation of 7th Pay Commission report without any delay.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the leadership of Ajit Singh Adyal, the members demanded issuance of notification of 7th Pay Commission/ revision of pay scales, enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month, introduction of insurance covered health care medical scheme for pensioners and their families and removal of pay anomalies existing in various cadres besides grant of 25 % interim relief to the employees and pensioners before the implementation of 7th Pay Scheme.
