JAMMU, Nov 27: Bus Stand police arrested a man along with 50 kilograms of banned forest produce.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bus Stand Police Station led by SHO Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia laid a naka and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 50 kilograms of banned forest produce from the belongings of the man and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Jagveer Chhatyal, son of Roop Chhatyal, a resident of Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
The person will be handed over to Forest Department for further legal action warranted under law.
