JAMMU, Nov 28: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (DF&SS) held protest demanding declaration of Pakistan a terror country.
The protesters led by President DF&SS Ashok Gupta raised anti-pak slogans.
While speaking, Gupta stated that Pakistan has made Jammu and Kashmir a living hell. Pakistan soldiers are indulging in ceasefire violations, he said, adding that in any terror attack, the name of the Pakistan surfaces as it acts as a safe haven for the terrorism.
“A week after Haffez Sayeed got released from the Pakistani court, the global terrorist is filling a petition to remove the tag of terrorist from him”, Gupta said and appealed to the United Nations to cancel the petition of Sayeed.
He stated that UN has designated Haffez Sayeed a terrorist after Mumbai terror attack on November 26, 2008 in which 166 people were killed. The organisation had designated Sayeed as a terrorist under UNSC resolution 1267, while the United States Department of the Treasury designated Sayeed as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist under Executive Order 13224 in May 2008, Gupta added.
The release of Sayeed confirmed that Pakistan Government is not serious to take action against the terrorists and demanded declaration of Pakistan as a terror country.
Among others present were Ashish, Bodh, Raj, Tony, Bantu, Kalu, Rajinder, Sham Lal and Parkash.
