JAMMU, Nov 29: A victim of road accident today succumbed to her injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, a 25-year-old girl namely Bharti Verma daughter of Pappu Verma, resident of Patoli, sustained serious head injury last night when she fell off from a motorcycle on which she was travelling as a pillion rider, at upper Paloura.
He said that the girl was undergoing treatment at GMCH Jammu, where she succumbed to her head injury today at about 11 AM. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
