“Parliamentary system is becoming disfunctional. Last session was a total wash out. The Winter session is going to begin. We do not know how it will be,” the MP said while delivering the annual lecture at NIIT University convocation here.
Singh, also the Chairperson of the University, said he firmly believes that Opposition had the most to gain through Parliamentary debate but a strong clash of opinions was being witnessed nowadays.

“Now we are having growth rate of around five per cent. How do we pay for these schemes? However, we are trying to bring reforms which are not being politically accepted.”
“There is lot of corruption that you can put blame upon political system. But people have to change this mindset,” he said.
