DODA, Dec 8: Police arrested a hospital employee and recovered intoxicant injections from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Doda Police Station laid a naka and apprehended a medical employee and recovered 34 intoxicant injections from his possession.
The arrested person has been identified as Nisar Ahmed, son of Anayat Ullah Sheikh, a resident of Akramabaad. The accused is sweeper at District Hospital Doda
A case under FIR Number 259/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Doda Inspector Manjeet Singh and assisted by SI Firdous Ahmed made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Doda Iftkhar Ahmed and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
