Yechury blasts Modi Govt for failure on jobs creation front

NEW DELHI, Dec 9:
Communist Party of India (Marxist) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury blamed  India’s low level of employment on the Modi Government, which was deflecting the issue by raising  the mandir-masjid issue.
Referring to the unsatisfactory rate of jobs created vis-a-vis demands for employment in India, Mr Yechury tweeted: ”It is this colossal failure of his Government, that Modi and his party try to hide with  talk of mandir and masjid. Indian youth need jobs. Not hate rhetoric. Promise: 10 cr new Jobs.  Reality: Jobs lost.” #Jobless
He posted a graphic ranking India’s unemployment rate among Asian countries at 8 per cent — much  higher than even Philippines at 5.6 per cent and Indonesia at 5.5 per cent while China reported 4.0 per  cent joblessness.
Asian countries South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand fared better  with even lower levels of joblessness.  (UNI)
