Sagar for early completion of ropeway project

SRINAGAR, Nov 18: The Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Mohammad Sagar has directed the officers to complete the prestigious ropeway project of Makhdoom Sahib within the stipulated time period.
The Minister was interacting with the officers during his on spot inspection of the ropeway project being constructed by the Jammu and Kashmir Cable Car Projects Corporation (JKCCPC.)
Managing Director JKCCPC, Talat Parvaiz and other senior officers were present.
Mr. Sagar impressed upon the officers to speed up pace of work on this project which would go a long way in providing an alternate route to the devotees coming to pay obeisance to the revered shrine of Makhdoom Sahib besides also serving as a major tourist attraction in the old city Srinagar.
The Minister also asked the officers of the departments involved in the execution of the project to work in close coordination so that the bottlenecks if any are removed and the work is carried in a smooth and coordinated manner.
