Chanchal Singh calls on HM, highlights J&K issues

JAMMU, Dec 10:  Social activist, philanthropist and religious preacher from Jammu, Baba Chanchal Singh today called on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at New Delhi and discussed with him a number of issues concerning J&K.
During the half an hour long meeting,  Chanchal Singh drew attention of the Home Minister towards the issues confronting  border inhabitants, youth and  farmers of Jammu region. Urging for a long term strategy to deal with the issue of employment to youth and peace in Jammu Kashmir, he said that people of the State were ready to offer all possible support to the positive initiatives by the BJP Government.
Rajnath Singh gave a patient hearing to Chanchal Singh and asked him to continue with his social works among all section of the society. He said that for permanent peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir, the Government has been taking a number of initiatives.
Within a period of less than two months, this was fifth meeting of Baba Chanchal Singh with the Union Home Minister.
