Rajouri, Nov 20: Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of 14 Sector Rashtriya Rifles today flagged off a 10 day educational and motivational tour to Jodhpur, Ajmer and Jaisalmer for 25 Elders from the remote border villages, along the Line of Control, of Nowshera Tehsil, Rajouri distt.
Mohd Safi, one of the participants of the tour said “We are really excited at this exceptional opportunity to visit other parts of our country. I have never gone beyond Jammu and am extremely thankful to Army for organising such a tour for us”, he said.
Speaking at the flagging off ceremony, Deputy Commander, 14 Sector Rashtriya Rifles said that we hope the excursion will leave a lasting impact on the minds of our fellow citizen from remote areas of J&K as they will experience the difference in life between a violent and disturbed environment. The team would return to Kalal on 29 Nov.
