UDHAMPUR, Nov 20: Five days Tritiya Sopan Camp organized by Bharat Scouts and Guides Association at NITL Higher Secondary School, concluded today.
On the occasion, Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA, was the chief guest, while, Ajay Gupta, Principal of the Host School, Sehaj Singh, State Training Commissioner, Jammu, students and faculty members were also present.
While speaking, Ajay Gupta presented the welcome address.
During the camp, seventy eight Scouts and Guides from three schools namely SVM High School Chakhar, SPM Convent Higher Secondary School and Host School participated under the supervision of RP Kotwal, Divisional Commissioner, Bharat Scouts and Guides Jammu.
Balwant Singh Mankotia appreciated the efforts of all the team members for providing proper training and skills to all scouts and guides.
He said that it is need of the hour to involve the youth in such type of activities from where they can bring a concept of unity in the entire world.
Mankotia said that it is the only organization, which is functioning in 152 countries and putting its efforts for the betterment of whole of the universe.
At the end, RP Sharma, presented vote of thanks.
