JAMMU, Dec 22: Minister for Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs has been nominated as a member of the State Disaster Management Authority while Commandant General, CD, HG, SDRF has been nominated as a member in the State Executive Committee of the Authority.
As per a notification issued by the Government in this regard, Minister for Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, has been nominated as a member of JKSDMA under sub rule (1) of Rule 3, after clause (v) and Commandant General, CD, HG, SDRF has been nominated as a member of the State Executive Committee under Sub rule (1) of Rule 6, after clause (iv) in partial modification to SRO 225 of 2017 dated 29 May 2017.
Pertinently, the State Disaster Management Authority is being headed by Chief Minister with Minister for Disaster Manag-ement, Relief, Rehabilitation as Vice Chairman and Minister for Public Works, Minister for Health and Medical Education, Minister of State (DMRRR), Chief Secretary, Administrative Secretary (DMRRR) and Deputy CEO as its members.
