JAMMU, Dec 22: In view of the ongoing strike of NHM employees, Government today ordered the leave of all medical employees of Jammu district stand cancelled with immediate effect.
As per the order, all the employees have been directed to report on their duties immediately to ensure that health services do not suffer. According to the order, disciplinary action as warranted under rule against the erring officers/officials shall be initiated.
“Chief Medical Officer, Jammu will furnish the attendance of all the medical employees of the district to District Magistrate office daily by 11 AM. He will also furnish the data regarding Outdoor/Indoor patients and number of institutional deliveries along with major/minor surgeries performed on daily basis”, the order reads.
