REASI, Dec 22: A man was found hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances in forest area near his house at Sirla, Reasi.
The deceased was identified as Murad Ali (45), son of Gaffor of Karyani, Sirla, tehsil Reasi. He was found hanging from a tree in Karyani Sirla forest area, about one Km away from his residence.
The body was spotted by some locals who informed the Police, which reached the spot. Later the dead body was shifted to District Hospital Reasi for post mortem.
Even as, it appears to be a case of suicide, Police has started inquest proceedings and registered an FIR under section 174 CrPC at Police Station Reasi for further investigations.
Meanwhile, Railway Police said that a dead body of an unidentified middle aged man was found from Hemkund Express at Railway Station Katra on Wednesday. The deceased appeared to be around 50-55 years old and was wearing white Kurta-Dhoti and grey sweater.
