DODA, Dec 22: Bhalla police arrested a dhaba owner for selling illicit liquor.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bhalla Police Post conducted raid and arrested a dhaba owner for selling illicit liquor pouches among the people. Seven pouches of illicit liquor were also recovered from the dhaba.
The arrested person has been identified as Satish Kumar, son of Shrikanth, a resident of Brahmpuri tehsil Bhalla.
Earlier, the accused and his wife were arrested in a case registered under FIR Number 83/17 under Section 48-A Excise Act.
A fresh case under FIR Number 153/17 under Section 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Bhaderwah Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Bhalla Police Post SI Sunil Parihar made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Bhaderwah Muneer Khan, SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma, Additional SP Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
