JAMMU, Nov 20: The Advisor to Chief Minister, Mubarak Gul, today chaired the meeting of J&K Rural Development Society,
Interacting with the district Presidents and Members of J&K Rural Development Society, Mr. Gul stressed upon them to come forward and work for the upliftment of the poor and downtrodden people living in far flung areas of the State. He asked the members to work for progress, development, unity and integrity of the State.
Mr. Gul also stressed the members of the Society to work for the protection of environment and eco-diversity of the State. He asked them to work for the preservation of forest in their respective areas.
Earlier, the Chairman highlighted the aim and objective of the Society and asked the Society Members to get feedback from the village level so that their basic needs are highlighted in the concerned departments.
The meeting was attended by State Vice Chairman of the Society, Ram Pal, Chairman, Jammu province S.K. Sharma, Chairman Migrant Cell, Ashok Koul, Chairman, Jammu district Bram Dutt, District President Samba, Bishamber Dass and district President Udhampur, Satpal Sharma.
