Jammu artist’s works displayed in South Korea

JAMMU, Dec 25: Jammu artist Jang S Verman’s art works have been displayed in an International Art Exhibition at Gunsan Art Center in South Korea.
The exhibition has been organized by ASROPA, an organization based in South Korea and headed by Prof Clemens Beungkun SOU to commemorate 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games. The organizers have been organizing such other International Art Exhibitions since 1995. One hundred and three artists from forty three countries are participating in this exhibition.
Art works of eight Indian artists, viz. Jang S  Verman (J&K), Prabhinder Lall and Harpreet Kaur (Chandigarh), Sankari Mitra (West Bengal), Rupinder Kaur (MP), Roma Bahl (Jammu artist now based in Lucknow), Late Naveen Dhiman (HP) and Prof  Kashyap Parikh have been included in this International Art Show.
It may be mentioned that Jang S. Verman is working on his innovative technique in creating ‘No Paint Images’ where no paint is applied but the images are created with the application of techniques of collage, drawing, photocopy, photography, and computer application.
