UDHAMPUR, Dec 27: The residents under the banner of Jan-Sangarsh Organization held a protest demonstration against PMGSY Department and District Administration at Ghordi, demanding completiong of construction work and land compensation.
Hundreds of people from the villages Sarsu and Dandal participated in the protest under the banner of Jan-Sangarsh Organization.
The people protested against the District Administration and PMGSY Department for delaying the work to complete the road from village Sarsu to Dandal.
President of Jan-Sangarsh Organization Advocate Sanjeet Bavouria said that the villages are having around 12000 populations who have to walk on foot. He demanded release of land compensation and completion of road. “If our demands are not redressed, we will continue the protest”, he warned.
