JAMMU, Dec 28: Kanachack and Bishnah police foiled bovines smuggling bids by rescuing seven bovine animals.
As per police sources, a team from Kanachack Police Station rescued five bovine animals from a vehicle during checking at Chafre Chak, while the driver managed to escape from the spot.
Meanwhile, a team from Bishnah police station also rescued 2 bovine animals from a vehicle. The driver fled away from the spot by taking benefit of the darkness.
Cases under relevant Sections have been registered at Kanachack and Bishnah Police Stations and hunt has been launched to nab the accused.
