JAMMU, Dec 28: J&K Bhoomi Human Welfare Society (JKBHWS) in collaboration with Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan organised a cultural programme with an objective to raise voice against various social evils in society viz drug addiction, corruption, use of tobacco, harassment of women, eve teasing, female foeticide, dowry system.
The cultural team unanimously decided JK Koul (Bezaan) as chief patron of the said society. Vijay Raina, Chairman of the society stressed the need to fight against these social evils for the betterment of growing huge potential of youth of J&K.
The musical play was performed held under the supervision of ML Dogra Chairman, BLSKS, JK Koul (Bezaan), chief patron and legend artists Asha Zaroo and Bharti Zaroo.
The artists who performed in the programme were Jitender Jotshi, Vishal Raina, Vijay Raina, Sumeeta Bhat, Rajesh Khar, Rajesh Handoo, Rohit Bhat, Abik Hangloo, Sushil Bhat, Rahul Kaul, Mohit Pandita and Kolin Chand Puri.
This co-ordinator of the programme Deepak Kumar Dogra presented the vote of thanks.
