Jugal, Shamsher call on Rajnath Singh

JAMMU, Dec 29: Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP MP from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat along with Shamsher Singh Manhas, MP Rajya Sabha, met with Rajnath Singh, Union Home Minister, at New Delhi and discussed various issues regarding border areas in Jammu province.
Jugal Kishore urged the Union Minister to start the construction work of bunkers along the LoC at the earliest so that the people migrated from border areas go back to their homes and can live secured. In his detailed discussion with Rajnath Singh, he said that the people living along the LoC will get their primary demand fulfilled by construction of community as well as individual bunkers in their area.
The BJP MP from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat also put forth the main issue of compensation to the people who got their land beyond the fencing point. The sequence of disturbances along the LoC had blocked the usage of land beyond the fencing point and people are unable to cultivate the land.
He laid stress to compensate the people for the land beyond the fencing point as demand was also raised by the people while Union Minister’s Nowshera border visit and he said that it is his foremost duty to highlight the sufferings of the people residing along LoC in his Parliamentary constituency and to solve them.
Shamsher Singh Manhas also joined Jugal Kishore and strengthen his request to start the construction work of bunkers along the LoC at the earliest.
Rajnath Singh assured both the MPs that he will expedite the process and construction work would be started as soon as possible.
