RAJOURI, Dec 30: School of Management Studies, BGSB University organized a symposium on the theme “We are One” at Muslim Education Trust (MET) Thannamandi under P2P programme.
BGSB University is among five Indian universities which are working in association with Edventure Partners and NESA United States on different themes challenging extremism and hatred prevalent in the society.
A team of students, Research Scholars and Faculty members of the School of Management Studies visited MET campus. During interaction, the P2P team presented their idea of “We are One” and briefed the gathering about need of religious harmony for global peace. The team highlighted the role of youth in promoting the message of love and peace among the local communities.
Speaking on the occasion, Khurshid Bismil, Chairman MET presented a thoughtful lecture on the importance of religious harmony in the present geo-political context while Danish Iqbal Raina, Assistant Professor, highlighted the objectives of the programme and presented his views on the importance of cultural diversity for the socio-economic development.
