Congress, SP and BSP have already joined hands to fight against any individual or organisation who expose corruption at high places and draw the attention of masses towards acts of ommission and commission by Govt. Ministers and MPs and their relatives. After the quite believeable allegations raised by the media and others against some of the practising politicians of main opposition party, BJP can no longer be trusted so far as fight against corruption and black money concerned. Ministers and MPs, through misuse of power and influence have not only been stealing the money from public treasury but also committed blatant frauds to own the Govt lands, forest lands mines and water. No mafia act is without direct involvement of politicians.
CAG is the only body which can make the masses awake about the corruption at high places. How can Govt. tolerate such an organisation or an individual who have been exposing the scams conducted by Ministers of Central Govt. Government wants to sterilize CAG by making it many headed. People know about the misuse of CBI by Govt.
Masses must fight to prevent the Govt. unitedly from making CAG a multi-member body.
