One killed, 7 injured in road accidents

SRINAGAR, Apr 29: One person died while as seven others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that four persons, Irfan Ahmad, son of Abdul Hamid, resident of Wasoora, Sadat Amin Shah, son of Mohammad Amin, resident of Tahab, Aadil Rasool Dhobi, son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Inder and Muzamil Hamid, son of Abdul Hamid resident of Barpora were injured when two motorcycles collided near Phoenix College, Doolipora-Pulwama.
The injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Pulwama, where Sadat Amin succumbed to his injuries. The body of Sadat was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
Sher Mohammad Kalas, son of Kala Kalas resident of Jabal Basant Wooder, Chadoora fell from the rooftop of a moving bus bearing registration number JK01B/2865 at Dadompora, Chadoora, resulting in his injuries. The injured was hospitalized.
A truck bearing registration number JK13A/3868 hit a scooter bearing registration number PB-9488 at Parigam, Yaripora-Kulgam, resulting in serious injuries to scooterist Mohammad Yaseen Wani, son of Ghulam Ahmad Wani, resident of Khanday Pora, Kulgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Santro bearing registration number JK03B/4086 collided with a bridge near Kadalbal-Charsoo, Awantipora, resulting in injuries to two persons, Mufti Sahr-ul-Hussan, son of Noor-ul Hussan and Faizan Hussan, son of Mohammad Shafi residents of New Colony Bijbehara. The vehicle got damaged. The injured were shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital Barzulla-Srinagar for treatment.
