JAMMU, Nov 22: To seek the cooperation of general consumers, J&K PDD (M&RE Wing Jammu) today decided to demonstrate its competency in providing 24×7 almost blink -free power supply in areas falling under 11 kv feeders RC-3 (Gandhi Nagar) TRT-1, (Trikuta Nagar) and R-7 (Commercial installations on Residency Road).
The Department has made some changes among the staff also to see that there is no layback attitude from the side of Department. This was stated by Chief Engineer M&RE, Jammu, Ms Sahnaz Goni who along with Superintendent Engineer, M&RE Circle Ist, Jammu A K Chibber and Executive Engineer Gurmeet Singh visited these localities.
The Department has appealed the people to report about the misuse of electricity or any case of abetment to the concerned officials.
Ms Goni also stated that the Department intends to extend this area of island of good performance to other areas as well.
