One killed, 14 injured in accidents

SRINAGAR, Nov 22: One person died while as 14 others were injured in separate accidents in Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK01G/8385, a Tavera bearing registration number JK03C/8186 and another Tavera bearing registration number JK01R/4943 collided on the National Highway at Charsoo, Awantipora, resulting in injuries to six passengers traveling in these vehicles.
The injured were shifted to Sub-District Hospital Awantipora, where from two were shifted to SKIMS Soura Srinagar and other two were shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar for further treatment. Among them driver of the Wagon-R car Mohammad Abdullah Parrey, son of Mohammad Ahsan resident of Wakoora-Badusgam succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura. Police registered a case in this regard.
A Bus bearing registration number JK01C/9861 hit a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK04A/9581 at Umerabad on the National Highway near Masjid-e-Umar, resulting in injuries to nine passengers. All the injured have shifted to JVC Hospital, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
