Gandhi invited as chief guest in National Art Camp

JAMMU, Jan 5: Renowned artist of the State, KK Gandhi, has been invited as chief guest in the valedictory function of National Art Camp “ALVA’s Vama Virasat” on January 14.
The camp will be held from January 9 to 14. Gandhi has been conferred upon the distinction of not only being the chief guest but also part of National Conferring Ceremony, in which Shoba Brutta, a well known senior artist of International repute is being bestowed upon the most distinguished National Award.
ALVA’s Education Foundation is organizing the camp. The Foundation established in the year 1998 offers a wide range of Graduate and Post Graduate programmes including Bachelor of Visual Art and providing a caring environment in the field of Visual and Performing Art.
The camp is to be held at Vidyagiri, Moodbidre, Mangalore (Karnataka) and 20 artists of National and International repute are participating in the event in which Gandhi gets the honour of being only IMP artist from Northern part of the India.
