JAMMU, Jan 6: Convener Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC) and trade unionist P L Koul Budgami and other trade union leader Raj Nath Raina have expressed concern over the recent Government order under which the candidates who will qualify the examination of Adib from Aligarh University will be treated equal to Plus Two courses of State Board and those who qualify the Adib -e-Kamil of the same University will be treated at par with graduates of J&K Universities.
The two trade unionists in their joint statement while expressing surprise over the decision said that the Minister in his directives to directors of School Education Jammu and Kashmir respectively has asked them to entertain these degrees for appointments as teachers and a person with qualification of Adib-e -Kamil can directly apply for B. Ed Course without qualifying the English Literature as was a procedure earlier.
They said likewise the directives of Education Minister reveal that a person qualifying Adib from the Aligarh University can apply for DEd course and it will be treated as 10 Plus Two.
They alleged that the Government this way has done an injustice with the candidates qualifying similar degrees in Prabhakar, Rattan and Bushan as the Minister in his directives have totally ignored these courses which shows the order is totally arbitrary and biased.
They said, while issuing the directives the Government was supposed to treat the other classical, regional and modern Indian languages including Sanskrit, Punjabi, etc accordingly.
