JAMMU, Jan 7: Satwari police under ‘Operation Amrit’ arrested a criminal and recovered large quantity of illicit liquor bottles.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from Satwari Police Station laid a naka at Babliana and intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 60 bottles of illicit liquor from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The arrested person identified as Salinder Singh, son of Surjeet Singh, a resident of Dharap was a criminal and was indulged into the trade of selling illicit liquor.
