JAMMU, Jan 11: Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner Samba has said that all the Provident Fund cases upto August 2017 have been cleared.
In a statement issued here today, APC Samba, Zahoor Chowdhary said that more than 3,000 cases of Samba district have been settled and the payment shall be directly transferred into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries and hence no cheque shall be issued.
He also asked the general public to beware of the agents/touts as well as consultants who were trying to damage the reputation of the PF Organization.
The PF Organization has also requested general public not to consult any agent for processing their cases and in case of any complaint regarding pendency of cases, the complainants may make their complaints to APC Samba for early redressal.
The APC Samba has directed all the staff and Inspector to check all the units. He disclosed that around Rs 20-25 lakh have been recovered in lieu of recovery.
The APC Samba further informed that the whole system of PF shall be made online in due course and the Provident Fund Office shall also organize seminars for awareness of general masses.
