JAMMU, Jan 11: Bus Stand police arrested a man and recovered two sharp edged weapons from his possession.
As per police sources, during patrolling, a team from Bus Stand Police Station intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered two sharp edged weapons from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Akhter Hussain, son of Mohammad Shafi, a resident of District Doda.
A case under FIR Number 4/18 under Section 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at Bus Stand Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bus Stand Inspector Rajesh Jasrotia made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO City Varun Jandial and SP City Dr Vinod Kumar.
