Rajesh kick starts upgradation work of Ramtalai pond

JAMMU, Jan 15: MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta, today kick started upgradation work of the pond of Ramtalai Temple in Ward No 2.
The work, which includes laying of tiles on pathway and fixing of steel railing around the pond, will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 5 lakh from the CDF of the MLA.
While speaking on the occasion, Rajesh Gupta said that the development work is first priority for BJP and that is the reason the country is progressing at a very healthy growth rate. He said that they have to maintain this momentum of growth and accelerate it further in the months ahead.
The legislator said that their focus is also to create infrastructure for the growth of tourism in the areas under Jammu East. “Tourism potential of Jammu East is tremendous due to the presence of many temples and heritage markets in the area”, he added.
Gupta also spoke on the importance of maintaining cleanliness and good hygiene in the area, which is visited by a large segment of population.
JMC officials who accompanied the MLA were AEE Gurcharan Singh and JE RK Koul. BJP leaders who accompanied the MLA include Prof Shyam, Shashi Sapolia, Dalip Gupta, Gokul Koul, Subhash Sanghra, Romesh Gupta, Vijay Mehra and others.
