JAMMU, Jan 16: A deputation of the Command Area Development Department Employees Association Jammu along with general body employees, led by Ghulam Mohd Malik, president of the Association, called on Administrative heads of the Command Area Development Department Jammu and highlighted their demands.
The deputation met Director Command Area Development Department, S Jatinder Singh, Chief Agriculture Officer Narinder Misra, Project Officer Soil and Water Management A K Dubey, Accounts Officer and Assistant Director Planning to apprise them about the long pending demands of the CAD borne employees. The employees appealed the authorities to concede their genuine demands at an earliest.
The demands, highlighted during the meeting, included; conducting DPC meeting of all cadres of CAD borne employees, approval of Service recruitment rule of both gazetted and non gazetted posts or CAD Department, adjustment of all CAD borne staff within the jurisdiction or CAD Department Jammu, creation of posts of JAEOs in CAD Deptt Jammu on Kashmir pattern and stopping deputation of employees from Agriculture Department Jammu to CAD Department Jammu against all non -gazetted posts.
The officers gave a patient hearing to the employees and assured that their genuine demands would be considered on priority.
Later on, all the employees also appealed to the Minister for Agriculture, J&K State and Commissioner/Secretary Agriculture Production Department J&K to concede their demands.
The employees, who comprised the deputation, included S Jaswant Singh Sudan (Chairman), Surindcr Singh (vice president), .Chaman Lal Verma (general secretary), Udhay Kumar, Nand Kishore (cashier) and others.
