JAMMU, Jan 19: BJP MLA from Nowshera Ravinder Raina today urged Speaker Kavinder Gupta to pass resolution in the Assembly condemning Pakistan for shelling and firing in the border areas, leading to casualties.
As soon as the Question Hour began, all BJP MLAs were on their feet while Raina raised the demand for adopting resolution against Pakistan.
However, finding no response from the Government as well as Opposition, the BJP members took back their seats.
PDP MLA Yawar Mir also voiced concern over shelling and demanded steps to protect people.
