JAMMU, Jan 21: A woman has been cheated by ATM fraudsters in Kaluchack area, falling under the jurisdiction of Gangyal Police Station.
As per police sources, a complaint was filed by a woman namely Rekha Rani, wife of Narayan Singh, a resident of Glak, district Kathua, at present Gangyal with Police Station Gangyal stating that she had gone to withdraw cash from PNB ATM at Kaluchack and tried to withdraw cash.
“As I failed, two persons standing there helped me out. Today, I came to know that Rs 3 lakh has been transferred from my account to the account of Naresh Kumar, a resident of District Udhampur”, the woman stated in her complaint.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 5/18 under Sections 420 and 109 RPC has been registered at Gangyal Police Station and investigation started.
