NEW DELHI, Nov 24: The wholesale jaggery market closed on a quiet note in the national capital today on adequate supply against scattered demand.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also ended steady in thin trade.
Marketmen said little buying support and enough supply into the market mainly held prices unmoved.
The following are today’s quotations per quintal:
Gur chakku 2,700-2,750, pedi 2,800-2,850, dhayya 3,000- 3,100 and shakkar 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,450-2,500, chakku 2,500-2,625 and khurpa 2,450-2500.
Muradnagar: Pedi 2,550-2,600 and dhayya 2,700-2750. (PTI)
