Ansari calls on Hegde, discusses skill initiatives

NEW DELHI, Jan 24: Molvi Imran Raza Ansari, Minister for Technical Education, Youth Services & Sports, Information & Technology, J&K, today met Union Minister of State, Anant Kumar Hegde to discuss skill initiatives in Jammu & Kashmir.
The two ministers discussed on various subjects. Ansari informed Hegde about the ‘Skill Summit’ which the J&K State is going to organise in the month of February 2018. He proposed that NSDC and SSC should participate in the summit and help State Government creating awareness about various skill development and entrepreneurship opportunities available to the youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
During the meeting, it was discussed that there should be enough skill development centres, ITIs along with incubation centre for young entrepreneurs in the Valley so that the youth of the State can have more opportunities for skilling and making themselves more employable.
