UDHAMPUR, Feb 4: A monthly meeting of J&K ReT Teachers’ Forum was held here today under the presidium of State president Vinod Sharma and District president Lekh Raj Parihar for highlighting the issue of SSA salary and others demands.
The meeting was attended by a large number of ReTs of all the eleven zones of the district. While speaking on the occasion, Vinod Sharma said that SSA salary was pending for the last two months due to which SSA teachers were facing a lot of problems to meet their both ends. “Though the Education Minister had assured to release the salary before 23rd of January, the same is still pending,” he said and urged the Government to make provision for immediate release of the SSA salary and streamlining of the same so that thousands of SSA teachers may not suffer any more .
