SRINAGAR, Feb 4: Under its Civic Action Program (CAP), Police organized two sports events here today.
A Police spokesman said that Police Station Parimpora organized a sports event at Police Public School Bemina and Police Station Nowgam organized a sports event at British School Srinagar.
“A number of youth and students of Parimpora, Bemina, Qamarwari, Nowgam and adjacent areas participated enthusiastically in the number of games like chess, carom, basketball etc. The winners were awarded and all participants were encouraged by the police officers,” he said
“The aim of such event is to impart and inculcate the sense of discipline, sportsmanship and camaraderie among the participants,” he added.
