JAMMU, Feb 5: BJP today accused Congress of making baseless and misleading statements as party is totally issueless.
In a statement issued here, today BJP State secretary, Sanjay Baru while taking a dig at the failed leadership of the Congress asked PCC chief, Ghulam Ahmed Mir, on what principles the previous Congress and NC alliance was based. Is not it the same NC which has called Congress the insects of gutter.
He said before raising fingers on BJP, the Congress should have introspection that it violated all democratic norms for sake of power in the country. It is the same Congress which murdered democracy in India by imposing emergency in 1975 and put every body behind the bars who opposed the decision.
Besides, it over threw democratically elected governments in many states and imposed the Congress rule through defections. The party repeated the same policy in Kashmir in 1984 that was the main reason for present turmoil Baru said and asked Congress leadership that before raising fingers over BJP it should have introspection.
Sanjay Baru said that Congress has given nothing to the nation except dynastic rule and corrupt politics.
Baru, while enumerating the plethora of steps taken to uplift the status of masses, said that it is only the BJP led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi that has ensured the deliverance of all the benefits to the targeted population by checking the loopholes within the system that were infused by Congress for the benefit of its leaders.
