Dr Wani of BGSBU gets Krishan Chander Award

JAMMU, Feb 6: Dr Mushtaq Ahmed Wani, a well-known short story writer, researcher, critic and expert in feministic literature, received Krishan Chander Award from Almighty International Society.
The award was presented to Dr Wani during two-day national seminar on the promotion of Urdu language in eastern Punjab, held at Maleer (Kotla) in Punjab on from February 3-4.
Dr Wani is the recipient of many other awards for his extraordinary contribution to the field of Urdu literature and language. He is an active researcher and has been continuously writing on socially relevant issues for the promotion of cultural value and ethos in the society. Presently, Dr Wani is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Urdu, BGSB University Rajouri.
