JAMMU, Feb 6: An Artificial Limb Camp was organized at Usman Stadium, Naoshera by Indian Army today as part of the Naoshera Day Celebrations. The free Artificial Limb Camp was inaugurated by GOC, Ace of Spades Division.
During this Artificial Limb Camp under Sadhbhavana over 21 beneficiaries including men and women from the Naoshera Tehsil who have lost their limbs were fitted with artificial limbs. Certain others who required further advance care were advised & referred to hospitals with better facilities.
The beneficiaries had come from various parts of the Naoshera Tehsil i.e. Lam, Jhangar, Kalsiyan and Kalal villages. Artificial Limb Camp drew a lot of praise and the local populace expressed their sincere appreciation to the Army for taking up this project to reintegrate the affected people in to the society.
