JU VC inaugurates MCA Block of Kathua Campus

KATHUA, Nov 27: Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar, today inaugurated the newly constructed MCA Block in Kathua Campus of the University.
VC, who visited the Kathua campus today, to take stock of the recent infrastructural developments taken place in the Campus during the past few months, inaugurated the MCA Block consisting of fully equipped Computer Lab, Smart Classroom and Video-conferencing Unit.
Rector, Kathua Campus, Prof Neelu Rohmetra, discussed various concerns and requirements of the Campus with the VC for facilitating the smooth functioning of the Campus.
Prof Rohmetra also apprised the VC about the academic component concerning both the professional programmes (MBA and MCA) being offered at Kathua Campus.
Prof Ishar had a round of the Campus and was apprised of all the developmental activities in the Campus.
During interaction with the faculty, staff and students of the Campus, Prof Ishar expressed delight over the speedy growth at the Campus and assured all support to further the developmental initiatives.
While addressing he appreciated the team with which the Campus is moving towards the desired direction. He also hoped that construction works of the Campus premises shall soon begin at the land allotted by the State Government.
Later VC distributed certificates to MBA students for their participation in the recently organized personality development workshops by the Kathua Campus in collaboration with International Centre for Cross-Cultural Research and Human Resource Management.
OSD to VC, Jai Kumar Sharma also accompanied the VC.
