ATCC warns political parties

JAMMU, Feb 7: The hunger strike launched by All Tribal Coordination Committee (ATCC) entered 5th day today.
The activists of the organization who had pinned high hopes in the Legislators said they expected that the Legislators will raise their issue in Assembly and hold discussion on Forest Rights Act.
Talking to media Talib Hussain, Chairman ATCC said “all political parties of the State and the leaders had disappointed this third largest community of the State and other reserved categories”. “We are left with only option but to contest next election form all Assembly segments of  the State”, he added.
Nazakat Khatana vice chairman of ATCC who is on hunger strike for three days said that everyone failed to provide us justice “Sab Ka Sath Sab Ka Vikas’” slogan proved hollow for us.
Wajad Khatana organiser of ATCC said “I am upset over the performance of Gujjar leaders in Assembly and this is my challenge that we will contest the next elections”.
Er. Choudhary Mohd Ibrar from Kalaban, Mendhar Poonch who is also media incharge of ATCC said that “we will expose the political parties for the false promises made with us during the time of elections. They exploited the sentiments of community to get votes and thus used us for votes and on the time of solving issues and problems of public they close their eyes.”
