UDHAMPUR, Feb 9: A youth allegedly tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence at Chakhar, here.
As per police reports, a 20-year-old youth namely Mohammad Arif, son of Abdul Qayoom, a resident of Chakhar allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence.
Finding him unconscious, family members informed the police and shifted him to District Hospital Udhampur, from where he was later referred to GMCH Jammu for advanced treatment.
Concerned police has started investigation to ascertain the reason behind some extreme step.
