JAMMU, Feb 10: A stolen motorcycle was recovered and handed over to its owner.
As per police sources, a splendor motorcycle bearing registration number JK21A-9003 was found parked in village Mana, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station RS Pura on February 8 this month and no claimant was found nearby.
SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary seized said motorcycle and enquired about its real owner.
Today after enquiring the matter, it was found that owner of the bike namely Harpreet Singh, son of Iqbal Singh, a student of SKUAST RS Pura had parked his bike in a banquet hall at RS Pura on February 6 to attend a marriage function and later he found that his motorcycle has been stolen by someone.
The owner was called in SDPO Office and the motorcycle was handed over to him.
