Govt should ensure essential commodities on Maha Shivratri: ASKPC

JAMMU, Feb 10: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) president Advocate Ravinder Raina and its general secretary, Dr Tej Pandita today urged the Government to ensure availability of essential commodities on the occasion of Maha Shivratri festival falling on February 13.
The ASKPC team on the occasion distributed walnuts among the needy and deserving families of the camp. They also expressed concern over denial of ration to migrant employees and pension holders and termed the Government claims in this regard totally wrong.
Sunil Pandita a social activist said that the migrant employees and pensioners are denied ration at ration depots while Government is claiming that it has sanctioned the ration for migrant employees and pensioners also. He and Vijay Kaul another social activist of the camp complimented ASKPC good will gesture. The programme was organized by Women Wing ASKPC Jagti.
