Lost gold ornaments handed over to owner

JAMMU, Feb 16: Police recovered and handed over the lost gold ornaments to its owner.
As per police sources, on February 8 this year, a person namely Vikas Verma, son of Vijay Verma of  Ward Number 8, RS Pura with Police Station RS Pura stating that he was carrying 70 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs 2.22 lakh in his pocket while going to his shop in RS Pura market for polishing, but lost them somewhere on the way.
Acting over the complaint, SHO Police Station RS Pura Inspector Bishnesh Kumar and assisted by SI Ved Parkash under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary and SP Headquarters Jammu Romesh Kotwal put all out efforts to trace out the lost ornaments.
Finally, today police succeeded in tracing the person who picked the lost gold ornaments from market road. The gold ornaments were recovered and handed over to the owner namely Vikas Sharma in the office of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary in presence of prominent persons.
